ELBLĄG AND ELBLĄG CANAL
Elbląg Canal is the longest shipping canal in Poland with an uncommon system of slipways and sluices to allow overcoming the various sections of it. Total length of the channel exceeds 84 km and difference in water levels is over 100 m. Due to its unique natural beauty, the area is protected by law; however it is available for tourism. Boat cruises and kayaking give opportunity to enjoy truly rare landscapes and technical monuments of the canal.
