Gdynia deserves to be visited at least for its large seaside walking areas. Beginning could be set at Kościuszko Square with its extension the South Pier. There are two anchored museum ships: the ORP "Błyskawica" destroyer and the legendary sail training ship "Dar Pomorza". Nearby, Gdynia Aquarium is situated, a place where you may see amazing fishes, amphibians and reptiles, deriving from different parts of the world.
Long walk and hike lovers will definitely find the Seaside Boulevard and a few kilometers of sandy beaches reaching Sopot and further Gdańsk, as interesting alternative to spend their free time. Also worth seeing is a sea port in the French Wharf area, where you may observe ships enter and leave, and take a look at military port Oksywie.
