The name of Sztutowo is invariably associated with the Nazi concentration camp "KL Stutthof". It was the longest established camp outside the borders of pre-war Germany. It was founded during the September Campaign in 1939, just after the occupation Pomerania and the Free City of Danzig, and operated until May 1945. Nowadays it is a place of the Stutthof Museum and also Struggle and Martyrdom Monument, built in the memory of the murdered camp victims. Worth visiting is the nineteenth-century Neo-Gothic St. Adalbert's church.
Only 4 km away from Sztutowo the place named Kąty Rybackie is situated. It is good to spend some time in St. Mark's Church in Kąty Rybackie to admire its interiors made from original parts of ships and quays. Other attractions of the area: the museum with an exhibition of the old fishing boats and located on the Northwest from the village ornithological reserve "Kąty Rybackie", a habitat of Grey Heron and Cormorant.
17 km away from Kąty Rybackie you will find Krynica Morska. One of the best-known summer resorts on Poland's coast. Worth to visit because of the Lighthouse and the highest dune on Vistula Spit called the Camel's Hump (height is 49 MASL).
